History

The Junior Service League of Lawton was founded in October 1947, and it affiliated with the Association of Junior Leagues of America in 1986 to become the Junior League of Lawton.

Junior League has had a strong connection with the founding and early development of many nonprofit organizations in Lawton. Since its beginning, Junior League has been able to flexibly adjust its focus depending on the local needs.

Recently, we have focused on projects related to our five impact areas including advancing childhood education and eradicating poverty and food insecurity. With a constantly growing group and growing impact, we foresee significant volunteer services dedicated to the Lawton community.
