The Junior Service League of Lawton was founded in October 1947, and it affiliated with the Association of Junior Leagues of America in 1986 to become the Junior League of Lawton.
Junior League has a strong connection with the founding and early of many nonprofit organizations in Lawton, such as the Lawton Food Bank and the Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra. Since its beginning, Junior League has been able to flexibly adjust its focus depending on the local needs.
Recently, we have focused on projects related to developing women and children. In the 2017-2018 fiscal year, Junior League members have invested more than 300 volunteer hours into the local community. With a constantly growing group and growing impact, we foresee significant volunteer services dedicated to the Lawton community.
